Bob and I were scouting friends and met during the Big Horn program at Tahosa. Bob was unfailingly pleasant, friendly and smiling broadly. He is a wonderful friend and will be missed! He has a front row seat in heaven!

I met Bob a few years ago, before I became a Knight. Bob was a gentleman and a Knight in every way you could be. When I became Grand Knight he gave me much needed guidance and helped to bring the council back to where it belonged. I will miss Bob dearly and send my heartfelt condolences to the family. Fair winds and following seas…

I'm so sorry. I didn't know! We had a long conversatio at Goodwill about a month ago. We working together in BSA years. That day we recalled our Army and AF years, our mutual Scouting experiences, friends, families and faith. He wore the Legion of Merit, unique for a CWO4, highlighting his exceptional Service to America. His mobile phone will contain a "selfie" of us he took that day. He stands mighty tall, as a Patriot, Christian, and Soldier. Hand Salute! Colonel Curtis D. Dale, PhD USAF (Ret

I've been a member of Ave Maria Catholic Parish for many many years, and saw Bob in passing hundreds of times. But it wasn't until I allowed him to start working on me to become a Knight of Columbus with him that I really started to get to know him. And after I became a Knight (one of the best things I ever did -- thank you Bob), that's when I truly had a chance, over all too short a time, to realize what a very special man I was lucky enough to be a Brother Knight to for as long as God allowed. I'll never forget Bob White and the mark he made on my life by bringing me into his circle. So many others have had their lives enriched by him, and I share their grief and, with them, console his family and pray for them and for his soul. --Manus Hand, KoC Council 7880, because of Bob White

It was my honor to know this good man who was a faithful member of the Regis Jesuit First Friday Choir and a distinguished US Army veteran who was awarded The Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the United States. Rest in Peace, Robert.

What a man, a very amazing man! So full of life . He was such a kind, caring, gentle man, always willing to help those who needed it, or very willing to lend an ear to listen.
Before moving back to Nebraska I enjoyed seeing him at all the Ave Maria Catholic Church functions, Of course all BSA of America / Troop 868 scouting outings and events, and seeing him in his 4th Degree Knight of Columbus dress uniform. Pancake breakfasts and fish fries will never be the same.
What a kind and gentle sole. My life is better for knowing him Mr Bob helped both my boys along the path to Eagle Scout, What a role model for many, many years to so many people.
Faith, Family Scouting, :-) that was and will always be my memory of Mr. Bob. The man with a heart of gold!
Heaven has gained an angels for sure. He will watch over all of us but, absolutely for sure all of he scouts young and all the leaders of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

I used to say you were my guardian angel. I wish I had gotten a chance to buy you one last beer. I'm glad you were able to enjoy your last few months. I will always remember our walks after work, our chats, the jokes, the meals we shared, and above all how much you loved Scouting. You will be sorely missed.
