Obituary of Ross Mitchell Panning
It is with deepest sorrow, we announce Ross Mitchell Panning, age 20, our most cherished and beloved son, brother, family member and friend died accidentally, and unexpectedly, on Monday, June 14, 2021 while attending classes at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
To those who knew Ross, we lost a shining light in our lives.
Ross will be missed everyday by his Father, Ryan Panning, his Mother, Carrie Panning, his brother Cord “Max” Panning, his grandparents Roger and Nancy Panning, LeAnn Donovan, Mark and Mary Ann Mitchell, his loving aunts and uncle Addie Clark, Jill and Greg Caudill, and cousins, Kennedy & Sydney Clark, and Sophie & Evan Caudill.
Ross lived most of his life in Parker, CO. He excelled in mathematics and was a competitive swimmer for 10 years in both club and high school. Ross graduated Salutatorian from Ponderosa High School in 2018. He was attending the University of Colorado, Boulder pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science through the School of Engineering and was on track to graduate in May of 2022. Ross loved playing his guitars, collecting vintage video games, and eating ice cream.
Visitation Services are scheduled from 2:00 – 3:00 pm on Friday, June 25 with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following the Visitation at the PACE Center, 20000 Pikes Peak Avenue, Parker CO 80138.
