Obituary of Jerome Benedict Weber
Jerome Benedict Weber of Parker, Colorado passed away peacefully at home on January 03, 2021.
Jerome was born on September 07, 1930 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Albert Weber and Elizabeth Dignan. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree, and worked very hard in his field as a Petroleum Engineer. He wed the love of his life, Carol Lenore Weber (Fink), on September 15, 1953 in Minnesota. Together they shared many years of fond memories, and built a beautiful life and family together.
Jerome was very proud for having served this country, and was in the Navy on the U.S.S. Yosemite and U.S.S. BRAINE from May 04, 1948 through September 05, 1955. But there were many things that he was passionate about – including fishing, woodworking, crossword puzzles, gardening, his hunting dogs, and coin collecting. Jerome was also very active with Elks, playing bridge, was an avid reader, and was an active member with Westernaires and Boy Scouts.
Jerome is survived by his wife of many years, Carol. Children – Julie (Michael) Pfister, and Louise (Dave) Yannutz. Grandchildren – Tai (Ben) Weber Buschert and their son, Peter, of Gresham, Oregon. Taurean Weber and Alisha Johnson of Denver, Colorado. Brian Yannutz and Tess Tarling of Montery, California. Kevin Yannutz of Berthoud, Colorado. As well as Jeremy Pfister of Monroe, Washington. Jerome also leaves behind siblings – brothers Tom Weber of Minnesota, and Michael (Rosemarie) Weber also of Minnesota, and sister, Eileen (Tom) Irwin of Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Warren Weber, his grandson Matthew Yannutz, and his sister, Patricia Krein.
