Obituary of Charles W. Hasstedt

Charles W. Hasstedt, 83, of Parker, died Thursday, March 29, 2012, surrounded by his family. A distinguished orthodontist and dentist, Dr. Hasstedt went to Northwestern University in Chicago for his degree in Dentistry and the University of Washington in Seattle for his degree in Orthdontics. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and also served his country in the Public Health Service. Dr. Hasstedt, a Denver native of the Washington Park neighborhood, was an avid outdoorsman. He moved to Parker over 45 years ago and would sometimes ride his horse, Shralax, to fix a patient's broken braces. He dedicated his life to making people smile and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Lynn, children, Karen, David, Steven, Kinsey and Kaley and 8 grandchildren. Services will be held April 5, 2012, 11 AM, at Parker United Methodist Church, 11805 S. Pine Drive with a Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Parker Rotary Club, P.O.
