Obituary of Miles Hostetler

Early on the morning of August 10, 2012, Miles Hostetler passed away peacefully at home and went to be with his Lord and Saviour. He was born in Denver on March 28, 1931 to Miles Owen and Thelma Hostetler. The eldest of three sons, he grew up in the Denver area. Miles served honorably with the United States Navy during the Korean conflict. Returning to Denver he met and married Joyce. Miles and Joyce wed on September 7, 1957. During their 54 years of marriage, Miles and Joyce had 3 children. Miles was a stock broker for thirty years; additionally he had many adventurous jobs, including some time spent driving a taxi. He always had fun, interesting stories to share with family and friends. After retirement, Miles especially enjoyed his time with "The ROMEO Club," a group of Retired Old Men Eating Out. Miles is survived by his wife Joyce Hostetler, his brothers David (Bette) Hostetler, Timothy (Sheila) Hostetler, his children Steven Hostetler, Kathy (Matthew) Hubbard, Glenn (Christy) Hostetler, seven grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces and countless friends.
