Obituary of JoAnne M. Lawrence

JoAnne M. (Ambrose) Lawrence, 67.Born in 1945 in Worcester, MA to Benny and Josephine Ambrose, JoAnne married David Lawrence in Tullahoma, TN on April 24, 1965. JoAnne and her family are long-time residents of Colorado. JoAnne was a career govenment employee and was an accountant with Denver's Small Business Association, retiring 5 years ago. JoAnne passed away in the care of her loving daughter, Christine, in Castle Rock with family at her bedside on August 21, 2012. JoAnne is survived by her husband of 47 years and their three children: Christine (Lawrence) O'Brien of Castle Rock, CO, Christopher Lawrence of Highlands Ranch, CO and David Anthony Lawrence of Hilliard, OH. Also survived by her mother, Josephine Ambrose and one brother, Robert Ambrose both of Worcester, MA. JoAnne's shining stars were her daughter, Christine, her six grandchildren, and her Aunt Franny Kuchinsky. A Funeral Mass will be held at Ave Maria Catholic Church, 9056 E. Parker Road in Parker on Thursday, August 30, 2012, 10:30 a.m. A Reception at the Church will follow the Mass. Interment will be in Dayton Memorial Park in Dayton, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to either the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 -or- St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
