Obituary of Lily A. Peper-Bohnet
Lily A. Peper-Bohnet, 72, of Parker, died on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from complications arising after Chemo Treatment for Acute Leukemia. She is survived by her husband, Ernie Bohnet; her two sons, Karl and Marc Suhanyi, and her grandchildren, Karlee, Katie and Ryan. She is also survived by her sister, Gertrude Nany Zods and her brother, Henry Peper. She was born in Magdeburg, Germany on February 1, 1940. She and her family moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1949 and hence to Chicago, USA in 1957. She moved with her family to the Denver area in 1972 where she later owned and operated the Maximus II Beauty Salon. In 1994, she moved to Arequipa, Peru where she became very active in the operation and sponsorship of orphanages and blind centers, and was an honorary member of the mounted police in the State of Arequipa. She returned to Phoenix in 1998 and then moved with her husband to Parker, Colorado in 2008 to be near her two sons and their families.
Services will be held at the Church at Parker, 12250 N. Pine Drive in Parker on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
Final Resting place is Cedar Hill Cemetery in Castle Rock.
