C. Vivian (Daley) Daniels, 84, of Parker, passed away on May 27, 2013.
Vivian's birth took place in her Grandma Rand's home in Castle Rock, Colorado on March 21, 1929. Her parents, Henry and Helen Daley, provided her a safe and happy childhood. While building her girlhood home, her Dad raised dairy cattle, her Mom, chickens and turkeys. Hilltop became her home where she attended Elementary School and learned to play the piano. She blessed so many with her music and shared her love for it by teaching many children, including one of her grandsons. She attended Douglas County High School in Castle Rock followed by Business School in Denver.
Vivian fondly tells of the time a neighbor, during Bible Class, shared the story of Jesus. She chose to follow Him and has walked with Him every day since then.
Vivian met her sweetheart, Glenn Daniels, while she was in High School. She married him February 14, 1949 and they celebrated 64 years together this year. She gave birth to three sons and one daughter. Grandma Viv was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Vivian always had many friends and those relationships she cherished. One of her greatest joys was to accompany the Church congregation as they worshipped God. Her ready smile and quick wit will be greatly missed by many.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Creekdside Community Church, 36100 County Road 13 in Elizabeth. Inurnment will be at Bear Canon Cemetery in Sedalia.
