Obituary of Glenn A. Daniels
Glenn Allen Daniels was born April 18, 1922 to John and Ola Daniels in LaJunta, Colorado. He had three sisters and two brothers. Glenn is survived by three sons, Danny, Cliff and Kevin and one daughter, Betsy, ten grandchildren, one granddaughter-deceased, eighteen great-grandchildren, four nieces and many great nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Parker High School, Glenn served our country during World War II. Upon returning home, he courted and married his sweetheart, Vivian Daley. They celebrated 64 years together.
Glenn and Vivian settled in Castle Rock, Colorado where he farmed, milked cows worked on the county crew and later became Castle Rock's Postmaster.
Glenn and Vivian moved to Parker, Colorado in 1977 and there they built their dream home. Glenn enjoyed recalling favorite times with family and friends. He was an avid reader and also enjoyed rock hunting and fishing.
Glen will be honored August 6, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Hilltop School House, 5748 Flintwood Road in Parker. A luncheon reception will follow at the School House. Interment will be at Bear Canon Cemetery in Sedalia, Colorado.
Flowers may be sent to the family's home or delivered to the School House on Wednesday from Noon to 5 PM.
