Kelli and Zak,
Thanks for your post and for the donation to the DDFL. Laci loved animals and wanted to be a vet and we are delighted that you have honored her with the donation.
Although Laci's loss is always with us, it has been refreshing to be in our dream home. Losing Laci was so unexpected and the thing you think will never happen to you, but we are trying to stay close to the Lord and each other as a family and know that we will find joy again someday.
We hope you have many happy years in your new home. You are a beautiful family and we too are glad to have met you and that you are in our former home. We have many friends in the neighborhood and we will look forward to seeing you when we are there visiting.

Scott and Dena,
Although we never knew this beautiful young woman, her memory will never be forgotten in our family. As parents, this hits home hard and its hard to fathom the pain you both have experienced and will endure forever. A loss of a child is impossible to make sense of, but the strength of your marriage and faith in God has gotten you through the hardest of times.

Dena, I have such fond memories of you when our children were young. I have known some sadness with my mother's passing and with Liam's diagnosis. There is no sadness like the one you and your family are experiencing. I wish I could take your sadness away. I know I cannot.
