Edelgard Dalgar

Edelgard ‘Ellie’ Dalgar, 81, of Parker, Colorado passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 18, 2021, five days after her beloved husband of 54 years, Edward ‘Ed’ Dalgar. Ellie was born to John and Clara Neu on January 9, 1940, in Haan, Germany. She emigrated to the U.S. with her parents in February 1950. She graduated from Grover Cleveland High School and worked for Coca-Cola and TWA. In 1967, she married Edward Dalgar and they raised their children in Monroe, Connecticut. Ellie enjoyed traveling the world, sewing, and embroidering, and was known by friends and family for all the beautiful hand-crafted items and traditional German pastries that she made.

She is survived by her daughter, Stefanie Dalgar, her son, Stephan (Allyson) Dalgar, two grandchildren, Kaylie and Joshua Dalgar, her cousin, Inge Mueller, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. She rejoins those loved ones who have preceded her, her parents John and Clara Neu and her husband, Edward Dalgar.

Her ashes will be scattered in a private celebration of life ceremony by her family.
